Fort Lauderdale Beach hotels to cruise terminals
The hotel towers along Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard and the Las Olas corridor fill up with cruise passengers every weekend, and for good reason: you wake up on the ocean and your ship is ten minutes away. From the beach strip, the run down A1A and SE 17th Street to Port Everglades covers three to five miles.
The morning problem is everyone leaves at once. Hotel taxi queues on embarkation day are long, and drivers who do not work the port may drop you at the wrong terminal zone. A pre-booked car removes both issues: your pickup time is fixed, and your terminal is confirmed against your ship before the driver arrives.
Sailing from PortMiami instead? The same lobby pickup works. The drive south takes about fifty minutes and the long-distance fare from $129 still undercuts most last-minute options for a family with bags. Either port, the routine is identical: bags loaded at the door, one flat price, terminal curb drop-off.
What to expect
Pickup at your tower
From the Galleria area down to Harbor Beach, the driver comes to your hotel entrance at the booked minute.
Both ports served
Port Everglades from $75, PortMiami from $129. One booking flow, whichever pier your ship uses.
Built for luggage
Sedans take three cases, SUVs six, Sprinters fourteen. Nobody rides with a suitcase on their knees.
Beach traffic factored in
A1A crawls on winter weekends. Our suggested pickup times already include that reality.
